Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Traceipt’s products, including the Traceipt Pad and the Traceipt app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Traceipt provides NFC tap-to-receipt hardware and software for merchants, and a personal finance application for individuals. Features described on our website may change as the Service evolves. Some features are offered on a paid basis (see Pricing).

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your login secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

  • Don’t misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Don’t use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or infringing purposes.
  • Don’t reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.

5. Pricing & billing

Pilot merchants use the Service free of charge during the pilot. After the pilot, the standard plan is billed at S$29.99 per month per checkout terminal. The Traceipt app offers a free tier, with optional Pro (S$4.99/month) and Premium (S$8.99/month) plans. Fees are stated exclusive of taxes where applicable. You can change or cancel paid plans in line with the options shown at sign-up.

6. Third-party services

The Service may connect to third parties such as Singpass, SGFinDex and the Apple App Store. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

7. Not financial advice

Traceipt helps you record and understand your spending. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied upon as such. Decisions you make based on information in the app are your own.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and brand, is owned by Traceipt and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service. Content you create remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to operate the Service for you.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traceipt is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or to protect the Service or its users. On termination, the rights granted to you end.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

12. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new version here. For questions, contact kabir@traceipt.co.
